Osho often speaks of how badly our world needs love. And one of the ways in which we can communicate love is certainly through touch, massage. Yet, we are surrounded by a society that more and more sees physical contact as merely related to sexual exchange and that transforms human relations into virtual screen-based meetings. So, our capability to touch the other instinctively and fully is becoming a rare quality.
In this course, the first intention is to relearn this capability and to develop a dimension of relaxation and presence inside of us so that we can truly meet the other through touch. From this new space, we will be able to approach the other with love and respect, while keeping in contact with ourselves. Both our giving and receiving will become conscious and sensitive.
The other intention of the course is to enable us to massage the entire body, from head to foot, using primarily the techniques of Esalen massage–a slow, deep, rhythmical massage. Moreover, we will focus on how to position our body and move around the massage table so that we can flow and relax while feeling deeply rooted. Then, after giving a massage, we will feel just as nourished as the person who received it.

And whenever you see the body flowing and the energy creating a new pattern of harmony, you will feel a delight that you have never felt before. You will fall into deep meditation.
While massaging, just massage. Be in your fingers and your hands as if your whole being, your whole soul is there. Don’t let it be just a touch of the body. Your whole soul enters into the body of the other, penetrates it, relaxes the deepest complexes. And make it a play. Don’t do it as a job; make it a game and take it as fun. Laugh and let the other laugh too.”
