Osho created the Mystic Rose as an intensive transformation process, combining in a unique way therapy and meditation.
The Mystic Rose is a three-week process, lasting three hours per day. During the first week, you laugh for no reason at all, dissolving all that covers your spontaneity, joy, and childlike qualities. A sense of humor is awakening that gives salt to your life.
The second week is devoted to crying. In a loving and soft atmosphere, long repressed pains and agonies can surface and so start to heal. Tears are the language of the heart.
The third part is witnessing, watching, meditation: “the watcher on the hills.” After expressing during the first two weeks, you will find that sitting is easy and not repressive.
If a man takes care of the seed he is born with, gives it the right soil and atmosphere, moves on a path where the seed can start growing, then the ultimate growth is symbolized by the Mystic Rose—when your being blossoms, opens its petals, and releases its beautiful fragrance.
