Sagarpriya has been a trainer of therapists in the fields of counselling and bodywork for the past thirty-five years. She is the innovator of two therapeutic methods, Psychic Massage and Star Sapphire Energywork. While directing the massage program at the Esalen Institute in California, she wrote her first book about Psychic Massage. Her second book, The Master’s Touch, has been published in five languages and a third book—on the subject of the inner male and female polarities—is forthcoming. Sagarpriya has been a member of all of Osho’s communes, sometimes training therapists and sometimes hammering nails and gardening. Her passion is to bring awareness into the smallest events of everyday life.
Siddho has a degree in Social Psychology Sciences. While still studying, she worked in anti-psychiatric projects at the time when mental hospitals were being dismantled in Italy. She continued her training as a therapist in NLP and hypnosis. From there she moved to Star Sapphire, Psychic Massage, and Family Constellation, and in these methods she has been a teaching instructor for the past few years. She joined Osho’s commune when she was only twenty-two, and at age twenty-six she was co-director of Vivek, a very large Osho Center in Milan. During the last years that Osho was in the body, she supervised the building of the marble pyramids in Poona.
Vistar graduated in law from the University of Milan. He worked for thirteen years in the financial sector, focusing on equity investments for institutional international investors. He became chief of the dealing room of one of the world’s most famous brokerage houses. He then retired to the countryside, where he now dedicates his time to organic farming and tries to live in very close and conscious relationship with nature. He is also involved in environmental issues, particularly regarding clean and renewable energies. Vistar is a Reiki master since 1998. He has attended various trainings in meditation and personal growth around the world over the last twenty years.
Yashoda has been an administrator in the past, first as director of Shantiyuga Meditation Center, an organization in Tokyo, Japan, with several hundred workers. Later she was the chief economical consultant in Shantiyuga. By the end of the 1990s she had become a successful therapist in Japan, Taiwan, and at the Osho Multiversity in Poona. She is a teacher of Psychic Massage and Star Sapphire Energywork. Presently she conducts many seminars in Bert Hellinger’s family constellation.
Arpita, Italian by birth, works in Sweden as a meditation group leader and a Star Sapphire session-giver. With Nirvan, she also organizes a school of design called Richterskolan, which helps to bring awareness skills to designers and people in the arts. In the past, she had more than twenty years experience in the contract department of an international oil company, first as an interpreter, and then as a contract expert for the hire of helicopters and special boats for exploration and drilling. Arpita is multi-lingual, professionally trained as a translator, and has now added Swedish to her repertoire.
Nirvan is a Swedish designer, well-known for his tasteful furniture exhibitions and his speeches around the country about ecological furniture. He is the founder of Norrgavel, a furniture company which has five shops in Sweden and which uses only materials that respect the environment. Nirvan was educated as an architect, and then changed to carpentry in his search for what he calls “the existential dimension of design.” He has spent months studying the shape of spoons and other utensils of past cultures, looking for a “silent design” where pieces of furniture become a discrete but exquisite background to life. Nirvan is a meditator and graduate of the Risk Therapist Training.
Pavitar graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature, after which she went to New York on a Fulbright scholarship to receive her Master’s degree in Performing Arts. She has worked as an English teacher, as an educational counselor, and as the co-owner of a translating and interpreting company. Also, she has collaborated in the organization of two international theater festivals for the City Council of Naples. Presently, in addition to translating, Pavitar gives bodywork and Star Sapphire sessions. She is the organizer of Energywork and Psychic Massage Trainings.
Saagara is first of all a medical doctor. For the last 17 years he has been working in the field of listening and communication problems with both children and adults. Respecting the research of the French doctor A. Tomatis, Saagara has developed together with colleagues the “Systemic Listening Therapy” (…). At the age of forty he took up a second career as professional artist. Since then, his paintings have been regularly exhibited in Germany and Spain (…). In addition to his work as a doctor, he has been giving art workshops in Bremen, Germany.
Praphulla taught music, until by taking Sannyas she went in the direction of “commune,” joining the ones in Munich and Cologne at first, and later Poona. This choice gave her the possibility to train in therapeutic methods such as Breath, Pulsation, Psychic Massage, and Star Sapphire Energywork. Praphulla participated in the start-up of Conscious Living (1997 in Freiburg, Germany) and became its first course organizer. Presently she is a therapist at Osho Uta Center in Cologne and part-time solicitor of advertisements for the German Osho Times magazine. She loves to connect with people and to be part of a Buddhafield.
Jitendra was born in Tanzania to Indian parents and has a degree in electronic engineering from England. He moved through many professions in his life, especially during his time in the Osho communes. While working in the cafeteria in Poona, cooking for thousands of people, he learned computer programming and then created a multi-faceted program to make the running of the kitchen easier. Today he lives in Cologne, Germany, and works part-time as a programmer and part-time giving Star Sapphire and Psychic Massage sessions. Jitendra grew up speaking four languages—Gujarati, Hindi, Swahili and English—and now, of course, he is also fluent in German.
Viren facilitated leadership trainings for fifteen years, organized by his own Swedish company, Process Konsulter i Noor AB. In 1996 he started to attend programs at Mullingstorp Psychotherapeutic Institute in Sweden and concluded his training as a psychotherapist in 2000. For the last five years he has included in his work Nonviolent Communication, a method of empathetic listening and expressing created by Marshall B. Rosenberg. He sees NVC as a help to get in touch with one’s own life energy and also as a means of making honest contact with others. Viren’s company is now called Feel Your Needs AB.
